SCOUTING REPORT

STRENGTHS: Natural pass-catcher with great hands...Polished & intelligent...Great concentration & instincts

WEAKNESSES: Lacks elite speed & agility...Doesn’t have dynamic burst or elusiveness...Needs to add bulk

OVERALL: A three year starter with good bloodlines, Brian Robiskie is the son of Terry Robiskie, a former NFL receiver and current wide receivers coach for the Atlanta Falcons, and plays wideout with natural ability and great understanding of his position. He has excellent hands and is a natural pass catcher who will go up and get it, rarely using his body. Robiskie is a natural athlete, but isn’t very dynamic and doesn’t have the speed to run past NFL defensive backs. He understands coverage and finds the soft spots in coverage. Robiskie has good height and frame, but needs to get bigger and add strength to match up better at the next level. He is a tough competitor and isn’t afraid to make plays in traffic or go over the middle. Robiskie is a very good route runner and makes crisp moves in and out of his breaks. He will make plays after the catch, but isn’t very elusive and isn’t much of a threat to stretch the field. Robiskie is a student of the game who is always looking to get better. He shows fantastic hand-eye coordination and focus when the ball is in the air. Robiskie has terrific body control and will make highlight-reel catches as well. He received excellent experience as a freshman before starting as a sophomore. Robiskie doesn’t possess the dynamic skills of an NFL #1 receiver, but utilized his father’s experience and knowledge to learn and get the most out of his ability to evolve into an excellent possession WR.

BOTTOM LINE: Robiskie is probably the most NFL-ready receiver in this draft and makes up for his lack of elite speed with his true understanding of the game, crisp routes, and sure hands.
